Weekend escapade :)

Travelled to Kuching last weekend. Boring place, boring food. Car travelling was tiring.

But the company was fun. I think I would like to travel with them again, and hope they feel the same. :)

I really think I had some sort of foresight that allowed me to plan a escapade when something really hurtful happens. It was the same for the Penang trip when that August event took place. And then now this. Hm~

Another nosy colleague hinted that she saw me with someone she knew. I think I know who she meant, but I didn't really care what she was going to do.

It wasn't meant to be a secret, and I was clear about my relations with people. If it was really a romance affair, I would not hide nor deny, unlike THEM. In fact, I would let the world know not to touch her. Haha :)

Anyway, I think she had a liking of me, but again I will not want to guess. I rather enjoy my aloneness while it still lasts, as the Tarot suggested. When the time comes, I would know who my Lady will be, I guess.

She ignored me... :)

Happened last Friday. She asked another colleague sitting near me, but ignored me. I ignored her as well. I didn't see the need to step into their whatever-was-going-on. I am not known to be a nosy person.

Didn't really know how she felt, nor did I feel the need to know. I will just let nature takes its course.

The Sandman - Endless Nights

Started with some songs I was listening in the afternoon. Skipping here and there, then the "Enter the Sandman" was played.

So I googled for "Sandman". Read the wiki. Then searched on Amazon. And found this.And bought it. All in one day's effort. :)

I bought this to see if I wanted to get into the Sandman series, since the hard covers are really not cheap. Initial impression is that the series is still not too bad. Death is mystifying, one of the most eye-capturing characters. Destiny follows next; his robes, blindness and the book draws my interest. Dream looks interesting too, and he seems abit vengeful (like me :).

But Desire was the one that captivated me. With his(?) words, "Getting what you want and being happy are two quite different things."

Dim Sum.... :)

Tried a Shanghai-style(?) restaurant at Bugis Junction with a close co-worker. Ordered some dim sum and a dish of fried rice. The one that made the impression: Home-made Tofu :)

List of items ordered:
1) Some sesame salty bun, cannot remember the full name
2) Home-made Tofu
3) Fried Rice with duck
4) Xiao Long Bao
5) Prawn Ball with Crab Roe

The bun was quite unique. I would prefer it to be warmer (heated). Taste was quite balanced, not too salty. Not bad.

Home-made Tofu made quite an impression. The inside is tight. Fried nicely and tasted "meaty". :)

Fried rice with duck is so-so. Duck could have been abit saltier.

Xiao Long Bao. The skin could have been thinner.

Prawn Ball. The texture is nice, but is actually quite tasteless. Tasted meaty, that's all.

Is it worth it? Abit pricey if I were to say, but heh, she's paying. :)

Mind Game(?) Part 2

Met her at the pantry while I was making coffee. Didn't look at her; I wasn't sure if she responded in the same way. Only thing I am sure is she got her ass out as soon as she got her business done. :)

Death lingers.... The End?

I did a reading last night. Seems like she would be feeling hurt, because of me. Didn't really understand why. I thought she would have seen this coming.

The Death showed up as a clarification card, signalling a change. Better or worse? Maybe a break is better for both of us, I guess. I have been reminded not to hold any hopes right at the beginning.

Then something interesting came. The interpretation as below.

"Come back in about a month's time to ask again (I think I asked about some new romance or the sort). Nurse yourself from this hurt and take care. Don't rush. Take your time."

I guess it's time to hide in a dark corner to lick your wounds, before getting out in the sun to play again. :)

Seems like I am a Sun in many people's lives. :)

When Love Turns into Hatred...

It was a very trying weekend. As soon as I did not focus or distracted by everyday events, the pain stroked and it became very unbearable. I would start to curse them and lament at myself, drowning in self pity.

In fact, the whole Saturday would have been wasted like this if not for the meetup with my Kuching travellers.

Stupid is What Stupid Does

Love makes people stupid. Period.

She was complaining of a co-worker who sneaked peeps at her. I decided, on impulse, to send her flowers to ward off him. She received the flowers, very happy. Then I regretted.

What a stupid ME! I was advertising for her man!!! In the end, the one who sent the flowers ended being the one feeling hurt. And I told her that too.

Guess it is time for this relation to take a break!

As I am writing now, she is still desperately uploading the photos of last Friday to FB. Well, I am sort of supporting her, by her side now. Hope I won't doze off at this moment. :)

This Is It....

2009 is a year when we lost many talents. One of them, the King of Pop, Michael Jackson.

The first song "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin" was shattering. I was almost moved to tears. I can feel the energy, the passion from the whole stage. To be frank, this was the first time I heard this song. Simply amazing.

I know most of his signatures, from the 80s to the early 90s. I can even sing along with some. My favourites are his slow songs, specifically "I'll be there" and "I just can't stop loving you". If I can, I will dedicate these two for her. :)

Somehow, it seemed that MJ was amusing to some audience. I could hear mubbling and giggling among us. I wonder what is so funny.

Confessed again last evening. Of course I don't expect a positive answer. I also didn't know why I did it; perhaps the Tarot encouraged me. It's strange, but I really didn't know what to expect in the near future......?

Cooked up a pretty lame story. I think I will write it down just to remind myself how lame I can be. Haha :)
